Water-based industrial paint production line
I. Overview of the Waterborne Industrial Paint Production Line
Water-based industrial coatings are water‑based paints used in industries such as automotive, electromechanical equipment, large household appliances, and industrial machinery. Guangzhou Maiko Machinery can provide customers with custom‑designed single‑machine equipment ranging from a few hundred kilograms to complete production lines capable of processing tens of thousands of tons of water‑based industrial coatings annually. These turnkey production systems incorporate automated raw‑material feeding, metering, batching, grinding, paint‑mixing, cleaning, and control systems, as well as automated filling processes. The products served include nitrocellulose paints, polyurethane paints, enamel paints, clear coats, anti‑corrosion paints, topcoats, epoxy paints, and more.
II. Process Flow
Ingredient delivery: Liquid ingredients are metered using pumps and flow meters; powdered ingredients are handled via weighing systems and pneumatic conveying; auxiliary additives are dosed by gravimetric weighing.
Dispersion: The powder–liquid mixture is dispersed into the liquid using a high-speed dispersing agitator tank.
Grinding: The white slurry is ground to the required fineness using a grinder.
Paint mixing: The prepared slurry is blended with emulsion, color paste, and additives using a single‑axis or multi‑functional paint‑mixing vessel.
Filtration: The finished coating is filtered using a bag filter or a self-cleaning filter.
Filling: The filtered finished product is filled into containers, with filling capacities ranging from 20 to 50 kg. Either a semi-automatic or a fully automatic filling machine may be used.
