Hygienic centrifugal pump

Hygienic centrifugal pumps are single-suction, single-stage, centrifugal pumps designed for hygienic applications. They are ideally suited for conveying milk, beverages, wine, and a wide range of other liquids, making them indispensable pumping equipment in the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
This series of hygienic centrifugal pumps consists primarily of a pump casing, a pump base, and an electric motor. Each component is fastened together with bolts, and the base’s support feet are adjustable, facilitating installation without the need for a fixed mounting foundation.
  • Product Description
  • Product Overview:

Hygienic centrifugal pumps are single-suction, single-stage, centrifugal pumps designed for hygienic applications. They are suitable for conveying a wide range of liquids, including milk, beverages, and alcoholic drinks, and are indispensable equipment in the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. This series of hygienic centrifugal pumps consists primarily of a pump casing, a pump base, and an electric motor, with each component joined by bolts. The support feet on the base are adjustable, facilitating easy installation without the need for a fixed foundation. During installation, the discharge pipe can be oriented vertically or horizontally to suit different requirements.

    Working principle:

The pump head consists of two main components: the impeller and the pump casing. The impeller is housed within the pump casing and rotates together with the pump shaft via a coupling. The rotation of the impeller converts rotational energy into a portion of kinetic energy, while the pump casing transforms the kinetic energy of the stationary parts into pressure. Powered by an electric motor or engine, the pump transfers energy—manifesting as velocity or kinetic energy and pressure—to the fluid being pumped. This pump cannot operate even when simply reversed; the direction of rotation can also be determined from the motor side, with the correct rotation being clockwise.

    Structural features:

This series of hygienic centrifugal pumps is manufactured by stamping SUS304, SUS316, or SUS316L stainless steel plates. The motors are either standard cast‑iron models or explosion‑proof types, and an optional SUS304 stainless steel protective shroud can be added. Inlet and outlet connections are available in quick‑connect clamp, internal/external threaded, flanged, and tube‑fitting configurations to suit user preferences. The pump’s overall design complies with GMP standards, featuring mirror‑smooth interior and exterior surfaces with no dead corners, while delivering high efficiency and energy savings—making it a truly green and environmentally friendly product.

The pump body and motor are integrated into a single unit, equipped with a mechanical seal and a stainless steel protective cover. It features a simple structure, an attractive appearance, a compact footprint, corrosion resistance, ease of operation, and the convenience of being portable without requiring a dedicated foundation.

The impeller and shaft sleeve are integrally precision‑cast and mounted directly onto the motor’s output shaft, offering high strength, a unique design, and easy installation. With superior precision that ensures concentricity, this configuration eliminates vibration and enhances pump durability. The precision casting of the impeller and sleeve addresses wear between the impeller and hub, while the sleeve features a rear‑end extension that deepens the impeller inlet chamber, improving the pump’s suction performance and preventing cavitation. Additionally, the open‑type impeller facilitates thorough cleaning with no dead zones.
