Product Introduction
UHT tubular sterilizers typically consist of multiple stainless steel tubes (inner tubes) housed within an outer tube, with the heating or cooling medium flowing in the annular space between them. The ends of each inner–outer tube assembly are connected via 180° bends to achieve the required heat-transfer surface area. This equipment can simultaneously perform both heating and cooling of the product, while also enabling automatic control and recording of critical process parameters such as sterilization temperature. This not only minimizes human‑induced variability in the sterilization process but also allows for continuous documentation of normal production operations. Tubular sterilizers are classified into two types: shell-and-tube and double‑tube. Shell-and-tube units are primarily suited for sterilizing fluids with low viscosity and good flowability, such as fruit juices, milk, and beverages. Double‑tube sterilizers feature a four‑layer concentric‑tube design and are specifically designed for processing high‑viscosity, poorly flowable products like tomato paste, jams, fruit purees, and maltodextrin.

The UHT tubular sterilizer primarily consists of a tubular heat exchanger unit, a balancing tank, a hot water tank, a hot water pump, a product pump, a cleaning pump, a diaphragm pump, valves, and an electrical control system.

Working principle
The operating principle of a UHT tubular sterilizer is that the product, under continuous flow, is heated to 138–150°C as it passes through a tubular heat exchanger and held at this temperature for a specified period (2–4 seconds) to achieve commercial sterility.

Product Applications
UHT tubular sterilizers are widely used for ultra-high-temperature short-time sterilization of beverages, dairy products, fruit juices, alcoholic drinks, and other food products.
